Too Cute for Words!!!!

Well, we have reached a milestone.... the first smile. It melted our hearts when Campbell looked up at both of us and gave us a big grin that we knew was not due to gas. She even gave me and GoGo a half giggle (even though it probably was not intentional). Campbell is now smiling and attempting to make noises to communicate with us on a very regular basis and we just love how she is starting to interact with us on a new level. Every time Campbell smiles at Mommy, I just let her know she is too cute for words!

Last Friday night, GoGo and Do-Da offered to babysit Campbell, so Mommy and Daddy could have a date night, and we went out to dinner, and Campbell got to show GoGo and Do-Da her new skill (smiling). She was a perfect angel for GoGo and Do-Da, and even had her first meal away from Mommy and Daddy. In addition to showing GoGo and Do-Da her new smile, she was able to show Grandma Pone her new skill too.

Because the weather has been so nice, we have started to take Campbell on walks, to show her around her neighborhood and she loves riding in her stroller taking in the sites. However, most of the time she is staring at Mommy or Daddy (which ever one is pushing her stroller). She is really adjusting nicely to her new surroundings and becoming much more alert and inquisitive. She is particularly interested in the ceiling fans and the blinds, and we can't wait to see what she picks as her next fascination.
