Well, we finally did it. Campbell Reese Loiseau made her grand entrance into the world on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at 6:31 pm. It took some coaxing (aka: induction), but she finally arrived and was kicking and screaming when she got here. She weighed in at 7 lbs 4.4 oz and 20 inches long. We still can't believe that we are parents and have this new, beautiful baby girl to look after. As all new parents know, we are a bit tired and exhausted, with some frustration thrown in, but it has all been worth it. Campbell will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and at her last MD visit, had already reached 7 lbs 8.2 oz, so we know she can eat.
I want to thank all of my family and friends for visiting and supporting us during our transition into parenthood. Everyone has been so kind and we look forward to sharing many more fun and frustrating moments with you all.
